Jott.com Releases Update
Although I’ve been more a fan of iwantsandy.com in my daily workflow and task management, I’ve had occasions (especially when I’m driving) where the services from Jott.com come in really handy. Well, I received notice today that they’ve released an update to the Jott services.
If you aren’t utilizing these free time management tools, I suggest you give them a try. Both of these systems offer a lot of organizational help for ZERO cost.

Software and the Art of CSS
I thought I’d do a little highlight on a tool that’s become a key piece of my designing workflow. In the past, I would do all my CSS work using the tools in my web development software of choice – Dreamweaver.
Of late, I’ve been using CSSEdit from the folks over at MacRabbit. There are a bunch of reasons I like using this in conjunction with Dreamweaver. For one – I can edit the CSS and watch the site change in the Preview Window. When working on my CSS files, I’m able to tap right into the site CSS/stylesheet and edit away using the local testing server or the full production website.
The cost for the application is $29.95 and it is one of my favorite purchases/additions of the last year. This is a powerful tool that has increased my production time. Give it a try and see if it’s something you could use.

As a devout believer in simplicity, the use of that word in a quote piqued my interest right away. Check out this article about Paul Rand from the folks at Logo Design Love. The late Paul Rand was a pioneer in logo design and designed such recognizable logos as ABC, UPS and IBM to name a few.
