Photo Editor for Web Developers on Mac
I use Photoshop a LOT for all my photo editing so I’ve become pretty adept at using it. The only drawback is that it can become a bit time consuming no matter what your skill level. Something I just came across while watching a video podcast from commandN was a program called Picturesque by the folks over at Acqualia. This is an excellent program especially for web developers because it makes processing photos for websites a snap. You can do all kinds of great effects including round corners, reflections (my current favorite effect) and a bunch more. They offer a free-trial and a price tag of only $19.50 (cheap compared to Photoshop - and also a great price for all the time you’ll save if you currently do a lot of billable work in Photoshop)
This is Mac-only software so sorry to all my Linux/Windows readers. If you have a program you use on another platform, feel free to pass along a link in a comment.

A little self-promotion…
To all my church friends (and beyond), I thought this would be a good time to invite you to check out an online tool/resource I hope to use for Portland Christian Center (”My-Actual-Church”) in the next phase of our web development cycle. I passed along some logo ideas to the folks at MyChurch.org and they were gracious enough to not only give them a serious look but also move it up the chain and consider the ideas for the next phase of their development. They just posted a blog to that effect so I invite you all to hop on and check it out. Feedback is being requested.
Since I’d like all my church friends to hop on board, I can now offer one more reason to do so - to support me.
