Ever Wonder What Search Engines Find on Your Site?
Click here to see a site that gives you a good look at what search engine spiders see when they scan through your business, church or personal site. For those of you trying to climb the ranks of search engine relevance/hits, this is some data you NEED to be aware of.
As a side-note – if your site is built primarily in Flash then as of now, your search engine possibilities are limited. These “spiders” scour the web 24/7 looking for keywords that tie in with search engine searches. With no words to scan (Flash is essentially embedded video and not code language), then you are crippling your ability to get hits. There are ways to work around this but this is one of the big reasons why I’ve dedicated more time to designing in XHTML/PHP and less time creating “flashy” sites and actual hand-cuff my ability to get the site seen by the masses.
